What NorthGate Mean
NorthGate is the fulfillment of our roots—the structured vehicle enabling CA Jail Outreach to scale youth camps, mobile mercy logistics, private education, and global media.
As we step through this gate, we stand on scripture: Ezekiel 44:4: "Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord: and I fell upon my face."
In scripture, the north gate represents the entrance to the inner court where God’s presence is encountered. For our outreach, this verse carries a threefold meaning:
An Entry Point of Power: It is not a place of pride, but a doorway where we expect God’s transformative power to work.
Immediate Humility: Seeing His glory brought Ezekiel to his face. It reminds us to operate in quiet humility, prioritizing spiritual fruit over personal credit.
Built for His Glory: Every program and administrative tool we build exists solely to draw people into His presence.
Master Structure & Governance: Every division operates beneath our tax-exempt 501(c)(3) legal shield. To house our central information hub, we secured www.northgateglobal.fyi (".fyi" = For Your Information).

CA Jail Outreach is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope, faith, and practical restoration to incarcerated individuals, re-entry candidates, and their families.
CA Jail Outreach is the home base for all the programs featured below. It also serves as a hub for various tools and resources—we are here to help anyone who wants to grow.

NorthGate Camp Growth (Jr/Youth Development, Retreats & Camps) leads national outreach initiatives, summer camps, and year-round off-season retreats designed to mentor at-risk youth and children of incarcerated parents. Through structured outdoor experiences, faith-based discipleship, and consistent personal mentorship, we build strong character, restore confidence, and empower the next generation to break cycles of trauma and thrive.
In partnership with community and family restoration initiatives, we provide fully supported retreat opportunities, leadership pathways, and camp sponsorships to ensure every child has access to life-changing camp experiences regardless of financial hardship.

The NorthGate 13:31 Standard (Year-Round Boys’ Leadership & Mentorship) The NorthGate 13:31 Standard connects young men with godly mentors through consistent year-round in-person meetings, one-to-one mentorship, and structured outdoor weekend getaways focused on character, leadership, and practical discipline.
The program takes its name directly from Numbers 13:31: "But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we."
